Our pension arrangements are one of the most valuable parts of our benefits package.

Contributions to your Civil Service pension are low – between 1.5 per cent and 3.5 per cent of your salary – compared to other public sector pensions schemes. The Scottish Government also makes greater contributions than many other organisations: between 17.1 per cent and 25.5 per cent of your salary (depending on your salary level).
